AnyDiv helps users manage shared expenses, review Group balances and see suggested repayments. This Privacy Policy covers the AnyDiv Website and Android app, which use the same AnyDiv backend.
Protected functionality requires an AnyDiv account. We process the information you provide to register, sign in and manage your account, including your display name, email address, account identifiers and authentication information. Email/password sign-in sends credentials securely to the backend for verification. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google authenticates you and AnyDiv processes the identity information needed to sign you in or link your account, such as your Google account identifier and email address.
We process the Group, Member and Expense information entered into the service: Group and Member names, currency, Expense descriptions, dates, amounts, payer, Division Method, participants, allocations, balances and suggested repayments. Member names may refer to people who do not have AnyDiv accounts.
Collaboration records include invitations and their status, linked account/Member identities, roles, connection status, and Expense creator/editor attribution. Authentication, session, request and operational security information may be processed to sign users in, protect accounts, diagnose failures and operate the service.
Account and shared financial/collaboration data are transmitted to and processed and stored by the AnyDiv backend and its hosting/storage infrastructure. This is not a local-only app. Website and Android access the same authoritative data subject to server permissions; Refresh retrieves the latest available state.
The app/browser also stores information needed for local operation and signed-in sessions, including authentication tokens or cookies. Removing the app or signing out does not delete server-held account or Group data.
We use the information to provide account access, maintain shared Groups and history, calculate financial outputs, enforce permissions, support collaboration, respond to support requests and operate/protect the service. We do not sell user data.
Information in a Group is available to its Organizer and authorized connected Collaborators according to server permissions. Joining a Group links an account to a Member; invitations and access changes are processed by the service. Only add or share information you are authorized to provide.
You may also choose to share an invitation or an Expense Summary/PDF using other applications, such as email or messaging apps. You choose the destination; the receiving service handles that information under its own policies. AnyDiv does not automatically send your Summary/PDF to your contacts.
Leaving a Group or losing collaboration access does not erase its financial history or attribution. Previous-connection Expenses and relevant lifecycle records can remain part of Group history.
AnyDiv uses Group currency and formatting settings to present amounts. Device/browser regional settings may affect formatting. AnyDiv does not request device geographic-location access for this functionality.
AnyDiv is not specifically designed for children under 13 years of age.
AnyDiv uses server/cloud infrastructure to operate and store data, Google authentication when you choose Google Sign-In, and email delivery for supported account confirmation/recovery messages. These providers process information needed to deliver those services. Links and user-selected sharing destinations are subject to their own policies.
No product analytics are enabled in the current product. The current Android app does not display advertising. AnyDiv records expenses and suggests repayments; it does not itself transfer money between Group Members.
Website and Android communicate with the backend over HTTPS. Account authentication, session controls and server-side authorization protect access to account and Group data. Protect your device and account, and keep passwords, recovery codes and invitation links private. No system can guarantee absolute security.
One Organizer can manage a Group alone; Members do not all need accounts. Invited Members can connect as Collaborators and participate according to their permissions.
For account/data questions or deletion requests, contact anydivsupport@gmail.com. Existing account-closure information is available at https://anydiv.com/account-closure. A signed-in account holder can submit a closure request after confirming the current password. This records a pending request only: it does not immediately delete, anonymize or deactivate the account, revoke sessions or remove Group history. Fulfillment and physical deletion are not automated, and no response time or deletion date is promised. Contact support for review of your request and the data/history concerned.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the service changes. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
